It does indeed remind me of some of the works by Klaus Schulze and early Tangerine Dream. I can still remember finding a copy of Timewind at Cutler's Record Shop in New Haven and wondering what this was all about. Naturally I had to buy it to find out. Thanks for bringing back this memory. This is a great set! rzeidler
I always think I have enough ambient albums but then I find something too good to pass up. Just really solid, not groundbreaking or anything but well worth adding to your ambient collection alienasu
If I wanted to point someone to Steve Roach's music, I'd start them here. This record spans some of Roach's signature styles, like the percolating synths in "Currents of Compassion", the dreamy abstraction of "Prometheus Passage", the tribal rhythms of "The Gone Place", and the elegiac majesty of "What Remains". It's stunning all around and guaranteed to make any day better. fyeahmetal
Stunning piano pieces make up this highly anticipated debut on Coldcut’s label and "playground for free expression." Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 14, 2017
The cover art inspired me to go alone in the park, lay down under a big tree, and get immersed in this ethereal ambient, watching the cloudy cold sky through its late november naked branches. And yes, the soundscape seems bigger than if listened in the living room. BVCVLEI
